Armitage IIIArmitage III is a futuristic sci-fi action movie. In this futuristic world, androids are commonplace and perform humans' menial tasks. They are controlled from upgrading too far, to protect man from insurrection, by the world's government. Eventually, better models are made, which can slip in and pass as humans. The first to be caught, a country singer, triggers an almost all out war. Gee, country music dooming the world -- anyone not see this coming?This movie is filled with pointless gunfire and carnage, for the most part lacking anything resembling intelligence. Because I could not coerece myself to sit through a full two hours of this, I cannot tell you about the very end of this film. Instead, I will sing you a song. When you were languishing in rooms I built to foul you in. And when the wind set down in funnel form and pulled you in. I don't need to walk around in circles. And when the ghostly dust of violence traces everything. And when the gas is drained, just wreck it, you insured the thing. I don't need to walk around in circles. But I can't sigh now that you made the move; it has gone and gone to dogs; lay down on the floor. For the right price I can get everything; slip into the car; go driving to the farthest star. Overall, the lack of intellect and deep thought are made up for here by blood, guts, cyborgs, and a hero in hot-pants. On the Danny scale, this gets a decent 5 out of 10 half eaten cupcakes.
