Why I watch the Discovery Channel...Like most people who watch The Discovery Channel, I watch it to gain a large understanding of trivial information...Oh, and one more thing-WALRUSES FALLING OFF CLIFFS! Yea you heard me! Since this was the MOST HILARIOUS THING EVER I will explain to you the story. Many walruses traveled south to England. It was very high tide when they reached the beach so they were truly quite far inland. Well, when it was time to continue their journey back into the ocean...they were lost. Then, one walrus stood above the others and began to march up a cliff. Up, up up he went, and the others followed. Park rangers frantically tried to stop the walruses, (for up is obviously not the way to the ocean), but the walrus persisted while trampling the park rangers. When the leader walrus reached the top, and started to slide down the other side... the others followed. The walruses, with their masses of blubber were unable to stop themselves... SPLAT! Half ton walruses falling, piling up on each other into an estimated 40 foot high pile. 190 walruses died that day, one park ranger was injured. By Tommy "Scourge of the Seven Seas" Raskind | |||
