Lex Luthor, Mystery of the Ages Recently, my friends and I were arguing over an age old question. Lex Luthor - is he black or white? Yea, Lex Luthor - you know, the arch-nemesis of Superman. In movies and live action, the man is obviously white. No one is calling Gene Hackman black, believe me. Once drawn, however, the man somehow magically becomes black.
