Well, I was all excited for a little yesterday. I sent a letter to the Squelch, the local humor paper, applying to be full-time staff. Eek! Like a job application for Puuba itself!
I sent a little of my work and got an invite to yesterday's meeting. Woo! Hopeful feelings going up!
So, 7:00, right on the dot, I go. . . to the wrong room.
Sooo, I guess I'll go to the next meeting instead.
     I wish I weren't such a motard. . .

     Okay two things.
1) Woo! The commenting system's back up! So use it.
2) Hey, go and sign the guestbook. New rule. Every person who reads this thing and doesn't sign the guestbook personally owns me some snacks. In Berkeley, I need more snacks.

So, someone brought up Globalgasm to me today. I felt like putting up just some basic thoughts on the day. My first one without an Alena in my bed.

A huge collection of lesbian erotica book covers from the fifties and sixties. Strange Sisters. Kinda cool. Basically, this link goes out to Tommy and me.

Just my walk back from class today took almost an hour. An hour spent in a really good way. People here just rock.

Woo! First class - done. Er, actually, I had a discussion as my first class, so having no lecture to discuss, it was cancelled.
Instead, I just grabbed lunch with a classmate, so err, good times. Let's hope all my classes are this easy.

My first college party today. This just in: I am not a hard-drinking, dancing party sort of guy.
My first college party was one quick beer, a few decent chats, and a short run home in the dark.
All in all, fun, but I'd rather have a real chat sitting in my dorm.
